I would suspect that your wife's home office has need for a smaller staff than the former Vice President would need. I'm also guessing that it requires less of a staff than Tipper Gore's home office. Also, we are looking at a staff of secret service protection round-the-clock. I'm not trying to say anything negative about your wife or her business and I wish her and you the best. It is however absurd to make a judgment about the living situation of someone who you don't know.

To clarify, the Home Office now think they have identified all Legacy cases. In that sense it is concluded. However, they have not completed consideration of all the cases they have identified as being part of the Legacy. If you have not already had at least some sort of acknowledgement from the Home Office that your case is being considered, it may be the case that they don't know about you.
The latest update from the Home Office is actually available here. It says that 403,000 cases have now been 'concluded'. 40% were granted status of some sort, 9% were removed and 50% were concluded in some other way, such as being found to be a duplicate case file.

What I find absolutely astonishing is how the Home Office simply refuses to investigate the blatent breach of the law in the case of BT testing out Phorm's spyware on unwitting customers during 2006 and 2007. Neither the Home Office nor police will accept responsibility for investigating a potentially criminal act. It is their legal and moral duty to do so.
The government cannot expect citizens to have respect for the law when it seems to be the case of one law for corporations and one law for everyone else. It's a joke.
